The small tidal inlet off Nodalles Channel, just north of Desolation Sound, is one of the favorite anchorages that we frequent during the summer months. There are no roads, docks, or any other marks of man upon the landscape. In the evening the only sounds to be heard are the gentle slap of the waves against the hull of the boat, crickets, frogs and the occasional owl.
